Nazareth College's Theatre and Dance Department will present its annual Spring Dance Concert and MAD (Movement and Dance) Weekend from Friday, March 31, through Sunday, April 2, at the university (4245 East Avenue). The Spring Dance Concert, held on Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m., will feature works choreographed by five students — Olivia Bauso, Ally Kadin, Caz Lopata-Linn, Sam Spadafore, Sarah Spina, and Najzma Williams — as well as five works choreographed by faculty and guest artists: Heather Acomb, Lilliana Candotti, Heather Roffe, Matthew Steffens, and Mariko Yamada.

MAD Weekend, held Friday through Sunday, will feature more than 30 dance and movement masterclasses in a range of levels and styles. The classes are offered for dancers ages 15 and older, and will be taught by faculty and guest choreographers including local dancer Vanessa Van Wormer, Limón Dance Company alum Daniel Fetecua Soto, and Broadway choreographer Matthew Steffens. Capping off the weekend, the MAD Artists' Showcase will be held on Sunday at 6:30 p.m. in Naz's Callahan Theatre.
