KIDS: Take the tykes to The Strong National Museum of Play (1 Manhattan Square) today, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., for safe, fun Toddler Trick-or-Treating and Halloween Party. THEATER: Geva Theatre Center (75 Woodbury Blvd.) will present an adaptation of Jules Verne’s 1870 science fiction classic, “20,000 Leagues Under The Sea,” as part of the Festival of New Theatre tonight at 7 p.m. The show will include puppetry, projections and live actors to tell the story of Captain Nemo’s adventures aboard the Nautilus. MUSIC: Looking for some jazz for your Halloween evening? Why not check out the Vince Ercolamento & Joe Chiappone Jazz Quartet tonight at Murph's Irondequoit Pub (705 Titus Ave.). The quartet will be playing their weekly free Wednesday night residency at 8 p.m.
RECREATION: Enjoy a day in the gorges: partake of the Weekday Nature Walk through Old Woods of the Upper Canyon at Letchworth State Park in Castile.
