Just in time for Valentine’s Day prep for ages 10+ with adult, make-and-take heart crafts including traditional Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) beaded heart pins, beaded heart sachets and cornhusk roses made from Iroquois White Corn husks. Iroquois White Corn-inspired heart cookies and heartwarming vegetable and corn soup available for purchase. Special guest Sally Roesch Wagner, author, women’s rights authority, and NYS Speaker in the Humanities, gives a special presentation on the unique story of the Haudenosaunee women and their impact on the suffragette movement. Her presentation is followed by a signing of her book, "Sisters in Spirit."
