Concentrated Poverty and Education

When: Sun., June 22, 1-3 p.m. 2014

A performance by parents-students-teachers focusing on concentrated poverty and how it affects the Rochester City and the region. WARNING: Participants in the event may go from spectators to “spect-actors. Performances in the Boal Freire tradition aim to transform the audience from passive spectators to active "spect-actors" who are moved to enter the stage and join the conversation alongside actors. The performance pulled this off beautifully. - Liz Hallmark, Blog Editorial for the D & C
