This day-long conference is organized by the Catholic Medical Guilds of Rochester, Buffalo, and Syracuse, and is geared towards physicians, nurses, health professionals, attorneys, clergy, and others. Speakers include Wesley J. Smith, JD; Anne Nolte, MD, and Fr. Robert McTeigue, SJ, PhD. Timely issues that impact Catholic medical professionals will be discussed, including: physician-assisted suicide, conscience protections, morally acceptable infertility treatment, moral courage in medical practice, and the threat of utilitarian bioethics.
