Directed by Jonathan Allentoff, this concert featuring NPR/WXXI Classical 91.5 Host Michael Lasser will showcase the talents of vocalist Mary Wojciechowski and clarinet soloist Rachel Roessel. The program, created in collaboration with Lasser, includes instrumental and vocal selections from "The Music Man", "The Wizard of Oz", "Carousel", "Chicago", "Girl Crazy", "Good News", "Hallelujah, Baby!", and "Carnival" in new arrangements by Allentoff inspired by the original scores. Lasser will narrate the concert and share his unique musical insights as a Peabody award-winning broadcaster, author, and professor. A dessert reception sponsored by Men's Club of Temple Beth El will follow.
