Directed by Jonathan Allentoff, with NPR/WXXI Classical 91.5 Host Michael Lasser showcasing the talents of vocalist Mary Wojciechowski and clarinet soloist Rachel Roessel. The program, created in collaboration with Lasser, includes instrumental and vocal selections from "The Music Man", "The Wizard of Oz", "Carousel", "Chicago", "Girl Crazy", "Good News", "Hallelujah, Baby!", and "Carnival" in new arrangements by Allentoff inspired by the original scores. Lasser will narrate the concert and share his unique musical insights as a Peabody award-winning broadcaster, author, and professor. A dessert reception will follow.
