When: Tue., May 20, 6:30-8:30 p.m. 2014
This is a workshop to help focus the distracted writer and jump-start the daydreaming one. Together, we will first examine, then obliterate the many excuses we can all find that prevent us from writing. We will also work on behavioral strategies and personal goals in order to find the time and motivation to write. We will practice writing in and out of class by using prompts, pictures, games and other devices to stimulate our creative juices. Our goal is to turn that writer’s block into a brick – the first brick for a foundation of life-long writing.
