On Saturday, February 22nd, among other topics, the group will discuss why the slave narrative is important in terms of perspective, voice, three-dimensionality, inciting pathos during its time, and the context in which we read it in the 21st century. Wednesday, February 26th, will be the follow-up screening of the critically acclaimed film adaptation.
