The Seward House Museum is delighted to host re-enactors Karen Fittry and Mary Mahiques for an engrossing look into how women dressed during the antebellum and Civil War eras. Fittry and Mahiques will take the audience, layer by layer, through a woman’s dressing routine, allowing audience members to get the true feel of the period by trying on reproduction clothing. Following the presentation, guests will have the opportunity to view items of clothing belonging to the Seward women.
