A lesson on how to use the Batik technique to design a custom tapestry wall hanging. This class will focus on a single motif or repeating pattern that you will apply on a 27"X24" piece of cotton. As a group, we will dip our pieces in a dye vat and discover the oxidation process with natural indigo. Your finished piece will be your very own indigo-dyed tapestry done with batik.
