When: Mon., Aug. 14, 6-7:30 p.m. 2017
This introductory class will focus on common local tree species and teach students how to use a variety of tree features (leaves, bark, seeds, size, shape, etc.) to identify them in different seasons. We will cover about 0.5 to 1 mile of forested land at a leisurely pace with plenty of stops for identification practice. We'll provide you with a clipboard, pen and waterproof guide to Trees of NY. This class will be held off-site.
