Tony Brancato and Richard Astifan, board members of the Rochester Baseball Historical Society, will lead a tour describing the unique history of baseball in Rochester through the lives of early Rochesterians who are laid to rest in Mount Hope Cemetery. The first era of baseball in Rochester began in 1825 and featured a baseball club made up of the leaders of the community. This walking tour will also highlight how the rules of baseball have changed from those early years up to the present.
