Jorge W. Galetto was born in Rio Cuarto, Argentina. He studied at Escuela de Artes, Universidad Nacional de Cordoba, Argentina. He was a professor of Art History, Drawing and Printmaking at Universidad Nacional de Rio Cuarto Argentina. Jorge received a scholarship from the Academia San Carlos in Mexico City where he studied print making, lithography, and enameling, obtaining a Master’s Degree in Color Printmaking. In New York City he worked with Khrishna Reddy, sculptor and master in intaglio printmaking and Associate Director at Hayter Atelier 17 in Paris. Jorge moved to Rochester in 1992 with his wife and son.
