For more than two years Rochester-based comic artist Jackie E. Davis has kept a diary comic she calls "Underpants and Overbites," which is inspired by real-life experiences and observations. With a dry and casually self-deprecating wit, Davis translates relatable experiences onto the panels filled with "chubby pink humanoids" that she then watercolors by hand. Makers Gallery and Studio is presenting an exhibition of Davis's watercolors this month.
