Main Street Arts is celebrating nearly five years in business with a new initiative to represent gallery artists from the Finger Lakes and Western New York region. To mark this new endeavor, MSA is holding an exhibition of work by the first eight artists it will represent, each of which have been show in past exhibitions at MSA. These artists' work will be consistently available in the gallery and through MSA's website. "Cultivate" opened in early April, displaying art by Lyons-based photographer and printmaker Pat Bacon; Buffalo-based painter and illustrator Chad Grohman (pictured); Geneva-based furniture maker and sculptor Patrick Kana; Canandaigua-based painter Meredith Mallwitz; Honeoye Falls-based painter Lanna Pejovic; Buffalo-based ceramic artist and sculptor Jody Selin; Rochester-based painter Mike Tarantelli; and Ithaca-based printmaker Sylvia Taylor.
"Cultivate" continues through Friday, May 18, at Main Street Arts, 20 West Main Street in Clifton Springs. Gallery hours are Tuesday through Saturday, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free. 315-462-0210; mainstreetartsgallery.com.
