An Evening with Andersonville Survivor Oliver Clarke

When: Tue., April 21, 7 p.m. 2015

18-year-old Oliver Clarke enlisted in Company B, 94th New York Infantry. He survived the war's most infamous death camp, and recorded his memories of being a POW. Drawing heavily from Clarke's Andersonville recollections, Steve Trimm's presentation will also look at his life in upstate New York before the war and how he coped with what we now recognize as PTSD after the war.
