It’s a matter of priorities, I guess, but I’d be hard-pressed to choose between bar-b-que and rock ‘n’ roll. I’ve always felt that rock ‘n’ roll is what bar-b-que sounds like; and both are equally messy.
Tommy Stinson has fronted the frenetic, pop-tweaked alternative rock bands Bash & Pop and Perfect, he’s played in Soul Asylum, and he’s been on Axl Rose’s speed dial as bass player for Guns N’ Roses. Most importantly, Stinson’s a founding member of The Replacements.
