Contra dancers from all over will enjoy CDR's Thanksgiving Dance Festival
Country Dancers of Rochester (CDR) will present a dance weekend that will start with contra dance to the popular band, "Polaris." Saturday morning will feature an English Country Dance (ECD). Then waltzing to another great band, "Center Street." Callers: Steve Zakon-Anderson and Kathy Heine. There will be contra dance all afternoon, with a medley before dinner, Techno contra at the dinner hour, later contra dance with our two bands and a raffle of a contra community-made quilt. Wear soft-soled, low-heeled shoes. No perfume please. Beginners are welcome.
