The folk opera, which premiered on Broadway in 1935, led by Brian Clickner, as well as the Brockport Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Jonathan Allentoff. Joining the chorus will be several guest vocalists, including sopranos Elena O’Connor and Alyson Mercedes Tardy, tenor Nicholas Bernard and bass Jason Holmes. O’Connor, a graduate of the Eastman School of Music, will start the evening’s proceedings with two of Richard Strauss’ Last Four Songs.
