After months of speculation after E3, Nintendo has finally revealed the launch details for its anticipated new home console, the Nintendo Wii U.

The system will launch on Sunday, November 18, sticking to Nintendo's traditional Sunday launch schedule.

A first for Nintendo, the Wii U will be launching in a two-tier SKU package, with the white model being a basic set, including the system, a Wii U sensor bar, HDMI cable, and 8 gigs of flash memory for $299.99.

The deluxe set includes all of the above, as well as a charging cradle and stand, added flash memory (32 GB) as well as Nintendo Land packed in, and the shiny black Wii U system, all for $349.99. Purchasers of the deluxe set are also enrolled in Deluxe Digital Promotion, giving them points for every digital download they purchase that can be used later on other digital purchases. Nintendo was mum on the details for that however.

On the games side, Nintendo showed off more details on Nintendo Land, including a Metroid stage called Metroid Blast, which is similar to the mode showed off at E3 2011, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii U.

Nintendo also showed off a brand new feature, Nintendo TVii, which manages tv guides across multiple networks, and looks to be creating a social TV watching service through the Wii U system, trying together Nextflix, Hulu Plus, Amazon On Demand, and your cable and DVR devices. Nintendo was unclear if you can stream cable tv directly to the Wii U gamepad, but the rest of the content can be.

Other key titles (Read: Megatons) shown included Call of Duty Black Ops II, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, and Bayonetta 2, a Wii U exclusive, with 50 games promised to hit between the launch of the system and next March.

Willie is very excited about the Wii U. Can you tell? He wants a pretty shiny black one now. Make sure to follow him on Twitter or Facebook to share in his excitement.
