LIT | Jewish Book Fest

The JCC Lane Dworkin Rochester Jewish Book Festival turns 21 this year and the event is lining up to be quite the party. Yes, it's a book party, but who says books can't be fun?

With programming relating to books on humor, history, friendship, romance, family, music, sports, and spirituality, there's a genre for everyone to enjoy. As far as events go, comedian Marion Grodin performs opening night, there's a community read, a musical performance, a film screening, the annual fiction luncheon, and Beers 'n Books.

The festival runs from Sunday, November 3, to November 19 and has a wide array of guest speakers scheduled throughout. Authors include Leigh Rubin of "Rubes," Judge Anthony Sciolino, John Schwartz, and Francesca Segal, among others.

Most events take place at the JCC (1200 Edgewood Ave.). Visit for more schedule and ticket information.
