A 50 minute documentary locally produced by Travis B. Lewis of Titan Media Productions starring Julian Bond and John Lewis This evening is hosted by Ms. LuLu Westbrook-Griffin and Travis Lewis. Lulu was one of the 32 Leesburg girls, aged 13-20 who were held in prison for 42 days in Leesburg, GA, from July-Sept. 1963, without their families knowing where they were. They were imprisoned for participating in a civil rights protest in Americus, Georgia. Come watch the movie, join Lulu in singing some spirituals, and ask her questions about her experience. The evening is free and popcorn will be provided.
