he Daniel Bennett Group is celebrating the release of their newest album, Clockhead Goes to Camp. Bennett is a Rochester native who graduated from Honeoye Falls-Lima High School in 1998. Daniel Bennett has been hailed as one of the most original and unpredictable musical voices of his generation. Insite Magazine calls Bennett’s music, “refreshingly capricious and trippy.” The Village Voice raves, "saxophonist Daniel Bennett makes hay with an airy approach that's buoyant enough to conjure notions of East African guitar riffs and Steve Reich's pastoral repetition." The Boston Herald describes Bennett's music as "exploratory folk-jazz hybrid." The Daniel Bennett Group has toured extensively and garnered a broad fan base that is unusual for a modern music ensemble.
