SPECIAL EVENT: See how the artists at Geva Theatre Center put together their incredible productions at "Magic in the Making." Meet the artisans who create props and costumes, lighting cues, sound design, and more over the backdrop of "A Christmas Carol." MUSIC: Dance parties are always fun, and the Bug Jar (219 Monroe Ave., bug jar.com, 9 p.m) is kicking off its brand new Monday dance-party series with Dance David Lee Rad and DJ Cub tonight. The party is free ($10 for unders) and there's free pizza at 11 p.m., so what more could you ask for?

LECTURE: Savor a catered lunch at noon or an informal tea at 2 p.m. with the Susan B. Anthony House while listening to an informative lecture. Author Julie Cummins will present "Daredevils in Petticoats" in the Carriage House behind the Visitor Center (19 Madison St.). Lecture and lunch $25, tea and lecture $15.
